All aspiring young pirate recruits are invited to come aboard the Duyfken Replica this Easter weekend (Saturday to Monday) as part of the fun of the Fremantle Street Arts Festival.
For just a gold coin donation (normally $10 per adult), you can join the crew and discover what life was like aboard a real Dutch East Indies Company ship that sailed and did battle on the waters of Indonesia 400 years ago.
While there were fortunes to be made, life was tough ... to be sure!
Make sure you come dressed in your pirate outfit.
We're open from Saturday April 4 to Monday April 6 from 10am to 4pm at the Sardine Wharf – near the Endeavour Shed on Mews Road, Fremantle Fishing Harbour.
Aaahhhhh ... see you at the ship!
