House on The Hill

The House on the Hill is a bespoke theatre work created by the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts’ second year Performance Making students in response to Fremantle Arts Centre’s unique architecture and rich history.The audience will be guided through FAC’s many rooms and studios in a promenade-style performance, enjoying a series of moving vignettes.The House on the Hill is directed by internationally acclaimed guest Nona Shepphard, visiting from RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) in London.4 performances only. Eleven Sons

A performative installation comprising eleven of Dale HIckey's discarded paintings based on Kafka's unpublished manuscripts provide the set and context in which the happening takes place. Recited by eleven males of various ages, backgrounds and ethnic provenance during the rising of the full moon, de Clario occupies a central position and embodies the father figure. Transporting the audience to an unknown place, Eleven Sons will shed unforgiving light on Kafka's work. Disruptive Critters Alive

This sonically abstract and texturally rich project features a massive projection and a multi-touch table-top console by The Duckworth Hullick Duo. Real-time computer-generated virtual avatars (or critters) will roam the virtual performance space, responding to sound and movement. The critters, each with their own sound world, become autonomous co-performers in the work, interacting with performers and each other.Disruptive Critters (DC) is a concert and free play exhibition. After their electric European tour and sold out North American tour, Sydney five-piece Gang Of Youths will return home this November for their ‘Say Yes To Life Tour’. Make Your Own Ceramic Mugs with Sarana Haeata

Learn to hand build and glaze your very own ceramic mugs with artist Sarana Haeata across two-weekend sessions. In the first session, students will learn a slab technique to create the unique shape of their mugs. By the end of this session each student will have at least four cups ready for firing.
