Local artist and Stackwood studio resident Ashleigh Perrella will be joining us for a special workshop this summer. Florist, illustrator and owner at The Wild Stem florist, Ashleigh will introduce you to a beautiful array of flowers and guide you through arranging a posy. Take advantage of her botanical knowledge to create a beautiful arrangement that will become the subject of your own floral illustration.

Ashleigh will share insight into her creative process and techniques whilst guiding you through your drawing.

She will share tips on how to approach a blank page, the importance of mindset when drawing, and how to develop your own unique illustration style.

You’ll leave with your own flower arrangement and an illustration.

All tools, materials and morning tea will be provided.

Date and time:

Sunday 18th February, 10:00am - 1:00pm

About Ashleigh:

Ashleigh Perrella is an artist and florist from Perth, WA. Her illustrations explore flowers in a whimsical style, which are recognised for her intuitive line work and vibrant, playful colour application. Through her art practice grew her passion for flowers and native flora, leading her to study floristry and start The Wild Stem; a flower studio with a natural approach. Alongside flowers, she continues to illustrate and design a growing range of paper goods and products under The Wild Stem brand.
